    Time: 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM CDT
    Event Description:
As part of their Bronze Award Project, Girl Scout Troop #26370 (ages 9 to 11) built a Ga Ga Pit at Joe A. Tambrella Park next to Mae S. Bruce Library. The Bronze Award is the highest award received by Junior Girl Scouts and requires 15 hours per Girl Scout of time contributed to a community project. The Ga Ga Pit is 20 foot in diameter and available for all to enjoy.

What is a Ga Ga Pit you ask??? It is basically dodgeball that is played in a pit with one ball. The game combines dodging, striking, running and jumping with the object of being the last person standing. Players hit the ball at each other with their hands, and are eliminated if the ball strikes them on or below the knee. The game can be played by a group of individual players or with teams.
