Our mission is to strengthen the economic success of our members, businesses and community. With our current conditions and concerns related to the COVID-19, our Chamber wants to be a helping calm of ideas and strategies to assist our members through this historic time. Businesses and our City Officials are experiencing a range of challenges associated with COVID-19, from employee bandwidth to time constraints - all within our rapidly changing health environment.
The Chamber will remain open for business. However, we may operate on reduced office hours and will integrate remote work as needed. Out of an abundance of caution to protect the health and wellness of our members, guests and staff, please follow CDC recommended respiratory etiquette and safe hand washing practices and stay home if you feel ill.
Public health experts advise anyone who is most vulnerable to complications from COVID-19 to follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommendations to stay home as much as possible and avoid large gatherings.
- Flu-like symptoms.
- A confirmed case of coronavirus or has been notified by medical or public health personnel that you are being assessed or monitored for the virus;
- Been advised by medical or public health authorities that you are at increased risk of exposure to coronavirus and should self-monitor or self-quarantine;
- Traveled in the past 14 days to any Warning Level 3 or Level 2 location listed on the CDC COVID-19 Travel Notices webpage.
As testing becomes more available and results come in, public health experts say it is possible there will be news of more cases in the region. To help support the public health response, we will continue to monitor the changing news of our region and keep you up to date on new developments.
